Danny is happy to announce that he will once again be riding for the Leicester Lions in the Premiership and the Ipswich Witches in the Championship for 2018.
He has thoroughly enjoyed the 2017 with both clubs and looks forward to captaining both sides as they go in their quest for silverware in the new year.
Danny commented “both teams are looking very competitive and I believe have a great chance of success in the new season. We were plagued with injuries with Ipswich this season, with every rider at some point being ruled out and impacting on gaining valuable points in crucial meetings. We were a force to be reckoned with and if all riders are firing on all cylinders I am positive that we would have been raising that silverware. Next year will be different and all of the boys are ready for the challenges we will face. It was a similar story over at Leicester, with a hard start with many troubles in the early stages but half way through the year it all clicked into place and we were fighting our way back from a far deficit. Although we finished bottom of the table, it wasn’t without sheer determination and handwork to ensure that we gave our fans something to cheer about. The boys over at Leicester are working very hard behind the scenes to make sure we can be competitive from day 1 next season and I can’t wait to get started.”
